If you're not satisfied with DocuTect AI, we offer a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. No questions asked.

1. Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a refund if:

  • • Your initial Premium subscription purchase is within 7 days of purchase
  • • You have not used more than 50 audits (the monthly limit)
  • • Your account is in good standing with no violations of our Terms of Service

Note: Free tier users are not eligible for refunds, as no payment is required.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. 1. Visit your billing settings in your Dashboard
  2. 2. Click "Request Refund" or contact our support team
  3. 3. Provide a brief reason for your request
  4. 4. We will process your refund within 5-7 business days

The refund will be credited back to your original payment method.

4. Overage Charges

If you created audits beyond your monthly limit:

  • • Overage charges ($3 per audit) are final and non-refundable
  • • These charges are billed separately at month-end
  • • Refunds for the base subscription do not cover overages

5. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime from your billing settings:

  • • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • • No refund is issued for the current period (you retain access until it expires)
  • • You will not be charged for future periods
  • • Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable:

  • • Subscriptions purchased after the 7-day period
  • • Overage charges for audits beyond your monthly limit
  • • Add-ons or one-time purchases (if applicable)
  • • Annual subscription discounts (paid in full)

7. Disputes & Chargebacks

If you dispute a charge through your bank or credit card company (chargeback), we reserve the right to:

  • • Suspend or terminate your account immediately
  • • Block future access to the Service
  • • Seek recovery of chargeback fees and legal costs
